About This Data Center
Evocative provides colocation and managed services with an emphasis on the unique needs of small and mid-sized businesses. Evocative's company-owned Emeryville Data Center was purpose-built for commercial colocation and is operated by a friendly staff whose knowledge, skills and experience exceed those found in the average data center. We place special emphasis on helping our customers be successful, whatever the line of business, whatever the technical challenge being considered. Founded in 1996, Evocative has grown steadily. In November 2004, Evocative acquired its Emeryville Data Center, which had been built by Colo.com in 2000. The acquisition facilitated the expansion of its business from managed services into colocation. In August of 2008, Evocative was honored with placement on Inc. Magazine's Inc. 5000 List of America's Fastest-Growing Privately-held Companies. Evocative received that honor again in 2009, 2010, and again in 2011--four consecutive years. Our growth, fueled by solid financial management and exceptional technical abilities, have provided our customers a secure, stable business relationship with which their businesses could grow. Evocative is entirely self-funded and organically grown, with no venture capital, and no operating or capital leases on any of its equipment.
