The idea for Frontline Data Services came to its co-founders Howard Andrews and Nick Feinberg well before its 2010 opening. The founders' vision was to offer green, energy-efficient high-capacity computing services in a customizable format that fit start-ups and large corporations alike. Our experience has been that many data centers cannot meet customer needs: “When I went to the data center I was using at the time to install new hardware, they told me not to fill my cabinet more than 75 percent,” said Nick Feinberg. “I was paying for 100 percent of that space, but they couldn't handle the power I needed. A high-density data center flexible enough to grow with the business is what we needed - so we built it.” Frontline Data Services is a stable, reliable and accessible colocation data center located just 20 minutes north of New York City in Orangeburg, NY.
