Scott Technology Center
Scott Data Center
About This Data Center
In 2001 local civic leaders and philanthropists had a vision for Omaha to develop a technology and engineering entrepreneurial business community. By tapping the expertise and talent pool available at the Peter Kiewit Institute, the Suzanne and Walter Scott Foundation developed the Scott Technology Center to meet this need and achieve the vision of helping to technologically grow Omaha. The Scott Technology Center represents an environment optimized for the development and growth of technology driven businesses. From the incubator program designed for the purpose of assisting entrepreneurs to our heavily fortified and redundant datacenter designed to store business critical data, the Center has the programs and facilities to meet the ever changing needs of the information technology and engineering community.
