Data City Exchange (dce), is a data centre designer and operator, offering bespoke networked data centre solutions to the major corporate, government and carrier markets, based on its unique Evo-POD data centre design and flexible service offering of OpEx rather than CapEx. The dce business model has been designed to offer customers an offsite, bespoke outsourced data centre, whilst ensuring the customer can still retain “ownership and operation” of their own data storage facility. The first dce campus site incorporates 110,000 square feet of high security, modular, scalable data centre space in Birmingham. Expansion plans include flagship campus sites Belfast, Newcastle (under construction) and Wirral, with additional regional hubs planned in Bristol, Glasgow, Milton Keynes, Derby, Hull and Dublin among others. International campus sites are planned for Croatia, Poland, Turkey, the MEA region and the USA.
