Init7 was first entered in the commercial register on 19 January 2000 and is entirely privately owned. We are not constrained by shareholders’ return targets; instead we can follow our passion for the latest and most sustainable technological developments. Quite incidentally we have become the market leader in Switzerland for providing IPv6 addresses. We are an accredited member of RIPE, the IP organisation for Europe, the Middle East and Central Asia. And with our own backbone (AS13030) we are a global player making an active contribution to the communications technology of the 21st century. At the same time we are still a typical, locally-rooted SME as long as you slightly stretch your interpretation of the word «typical».
