Datacube
About This Data Center
Datacube was created as a data center that could take advantage of the Vienna/Bratislava strategic geographic position in the center of Europe and on Europe's main fiber optic routes. The idea was a natural progression for its founders, Jeff Silverberg and Imrich Valach. Drawing on their combination of past experience creating successful companies in both IT/telecom and real estate development/management, they were uniquely positioned to deal with the complexities of constructing and operating a data center business. They brought on board the former operations manager of a large European data center and a long time IBM data center designer now certified by the Uptime Institute, to work on the technology concept and design and to oversee the equipment installation and operations. Datacube was opened for business in early 2012 and now houses critical equipment for numerous multinational and Slovak businesses.
