SmartDC is the largest carrier neutral datacenter in Rotterdam (second largest city in the Netherlands, 45 min from Amsterdam). SmartDC offers secure, flexible and reliable colocation facilities to meet the increasing demands of the market. SmartDC is located in the well-known industrial monument "de Van Nellefabriek". With a maximum capacity of 36.000 square feet and additional 45.000 square feet available for future expansions. We can offer you high density hosting in our state-of-the-art facility. We have multiple fiber carriers in-house and we are a NL-IX and Level3 PoP. Connectivity to multiple exchanges, public clouds such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS, SURF and eZorg are available. SmartDC operates with sustainability, security, flexibility and communication as core values. This means we use 100% sustainable local green energy sources and constantly work on lowering our power consumption and our PUE-value. At the moment we have realized a PUE of 1.35 and we expect to lower this future in the near future to 1.2. SmartDC can offer high density hosting of 2x32Amp (7,3KW) per rack. Our facility is secured and guarded 24x7 and also our technical crew is onsite 7 days a week for remote/smart-hands. So your servers and IT-equipment are secured 24/7 with professional onsite security and automated security systems.
