PT Sinar Mas Multifinance(Simas Finance) is a company engaged in business financing lease, factoring and consumer financing. The company was established in 1985 under the name of PT Sinar Supra Leasing Company, then renamed PT Sinar Supra Finance Co., and finally chose a new name used up to now. In 1995 all shares of the company were purchased by PT Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk, an investment company under the Sinar Mas business group. In February 1995, PT Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk acquired all shares of PT Sinar Supra Finance and renamed the company it bought into PT Sinar Mas Multifinance in early 1996. In June 1996, under the guidance of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia, all financing assets of PT Sinar Mas Multiartha TBK to Simas Finance.
